TGIF Fridays , a popular American restaurant made its debut in Jamaica in 2005. Its central location and difference in menu options, and of course the international brand name gave the restaurant its initial buzz and it was once the place to dine. In three years however the restaurant has not really evolved or changed much with the eating culture in Jamaica. I must add that the prices are not bad , the food and the service is decent and there always seem to be a party or celebration happening. If you like noisy sports bars then you will like TGIF. It seems to be the hotspot for noisy ,puppy love-struck teenagers. I have been to the restaurant on a few occassions but it hasn't really made a big impression on me. I did like my meal but it was very difficult to have a conversation with my friends as it was so noisy. It's not the ideal place for a quiet dinner but very suitable for a rowdy cocktail outing with the girls. Tags for this Travel Tip: tgif restaurant kingston |
