The Sears Tower - WOW. If you don't like heights, the Sears Tower is difficult to stomach. I do not like heights, and I felt dizzy the whole time we were up there! While my husband and my kids and I picked out places we'd been, a storm rolled in, and the whole building started to sway - it was quite frightening!
However, the views are amazing. The building soars far above all others in Chicago, and makes the city below seem like another world. It is easy to pick out sights like the Shedd Aquarium, the Field Museum, Soldier Field, and Navy Pier - but if you are looking for something else, there are guides to assist. Around the center of the Skydeck is a great exhibit outlining Chicago's history, that also give little tidbits of info about things you never knew.
