Curchstoke is a small village community situated right on the borders of England and Wales. (Shropshire, England & Powys, Wales). It is on the A489 road.
It is a small community comprising of a number of villages.
The area is a good base for walkers, and exploring the countryside of Shropshire and Powys.
I used to own a static caravan here, on a charming select site, called ‘Foggy Bottom Caravan Park’. It was a perfect base to explore from.

Churchstoke is one of those charming little villages that are not really advertised for anything special but you have to drive through it, to get somewhere else.
It is worth stopping off, just to have a break and a stroll around, and go into the supermarket.

The main attraction of this village is Harry Tuffin Supermarket. It is a supermarket that sells absolutely everything, a café area, a petrol station, a truck stop, and a Sunday market, where you can pick up a bargain of just about anything you could think of.
At the rear of this supermarket, there is a 50 acre Country Park, with a children’s play area and animals, such as Highland Deer, Horses, Cattle, Waterfowl, and there are lakes. There is a good path to walk around the whole area, and everything is free.
I have been to this park with family and my Grandson; it is a good for a couple of hours, whilst in this area.
