Having lived in Barcelona, I've seen the cult and wonder of Gaudi, and I respect it - his buildings are so unique and inspiring. Yet the Austrian architect Hunderwasser strikes the exact same chord with me, and I always wonder why he isn't better known. Partly I suppose, he doesn't belong to any one city the way that Gaudi does to Barcelona, and the Kunst Haus seems to be some attempt to tie him to Vienna.

The building alone is worth the entrance fee - it's just incredible and so unique. Like Gaudi, there is a huge attention to detail and every angle of every room keeps you guessing. The collection it contains is pretty stunning too, and includes a load of his models as well as an impressive collection of paintings and other artworks.

Give Hundertwasser a try! There's no way you won't be impressed
