Aschaffenburg
Aschaffenburg is one of those wonderful small towns that one can find in the middle of Germany. It is picturesquely located on the large river Main. In the city there are surprisingly many nice long pedestrian streets combined with quite many parks where one can walk for hours. There is also a Rennessaince castle (Schloss Johannisburg), several nice squares and, of course an old and beautifully decorated town hall. The Stiftskirche of St Alexander is also very impressive.
