Bus Transport
I've lived in Bristol for five years and not been particulary impressed with the bus system (they don't come when they say they will, not enough services, don't run late in the night). Liverpool's bus system is frequent and there are plenty of buses to serve all areas of Liverpool. This is partly because there are several different bus providers that cover Liverpool. Arriva seems to be the main one, with Stagecoach another major one. The only thing is that if you buy a ticket for one bus company you can't use it to travel on another, unless you have bought a saver bus ticket whihc you can use on all bus companies as well as the trains and the ferries.
