Lugoj
Lugoj is a small town in Western Romania, close to Timisoara and on the way from Timisoara to the capital Bucharest. While the city lacks very big attractions, it is quite charming in its own way having a wonderful pedestrian street full of flowers and a nice town center. The main attractions are the baroque church and the cathedral of the Greek Catholic church. Actually this cathedral is not especially beautiful or special and it is quite small, but hte interesting thing about it is that you don't find cathedrals of that faith very often. The river Timis crosses the town and I guess it is a great place for fishing since there were many fishermen on its banks.
