Felucca Ride on the Nile
There are few things as pleasant as a sunset ride in a felucca on the Nile. Expect to pay around 20 Egyptian pounds per hour, but the experience is well worth the price. Many of the felucca captains will want to take you up to Banana Island, which is about a 3 hour journey, depending on the wind and the level of the Nile at that time of year. The island itself is covered with palm trees and not much else. If you're looking for a relaxing day with a picnic lunch, then this may be the thing for you.
