Malahide, an impression
When first I went to Malahide I over-expected. Maybe because I've been told about its beauty and breathtaking sceneries. Although I can say it was a nice village with beach and bay incorporated, I wasn't that impressed.
In Dublin going to Malahide and Portmarnock is becoming a kind of a trend. I definitely preferred Howth.
Ok, I have to say that it was bad weather, that kind of cloudy mist that threatens rain.
The village of Malahide is very pretty, colourful and full of flowers. There also are restaurants, with the possibility to order good fish.
The views are nice, but not breathtaking, the beaches are nice, but not unforgettable.
It's the kind of place perfect for families, in fact it was full of children playing, running and swimming.
This is the beach part of Malahide, but I didn't see the Castle and I'll come back because for the history it represents, it's worth a visit.
