New Year's Celebrations in Melbourne
Happy New Year Cosmotourists! I hope 2008 is full of fun and adventures. If you happen to be in Melbourne next year, check out the New Year’s celebrations. The weather is usually hot, but the vibe is cool. Head to Federation Square if you can bear the crowds. The music is pumping, those in attendance are dancing, and the fireworks are great. For better views of the fireworks, though, walk towards Fitzroy Gardens (on the left) and the ferris wheel (on your right) where you’ll eventually see some bridge/walkway areas where people like to gather.
