Small towns in Luxembourg
Luxembourg is a very nice country, which most of us associate only with its capital city, also called Luxembourg. But I discovered that not only the capital is beautiful, but the whole country. I visited numerous nice small towns like Echternach with its old abbey and living streets, Vianden which is by far the smallest "city" I have ever been with its wonderful castle atop on a hill, Clervaux with its nice center and also castle and abbey...Esch sur Sure, Wiltz, Diekirch - all of these small towns had a lot to offer, at least for me. And the transportation in Luxembourg is really good, so you can stay at any of them as long as you want and since they are quite small and close to one... [more] |
