Sri Lanka - Negombo - Restaurant 4 stars

If you visit Negombo you absolutely have to have dinner at the Ice Bear GuestHouse. I didn't actually stay here but the restaurant section is open to the public. And if I went back I would definitely stay here. It is a really quirky little place right on the sea front.

The dinner here was some of the best seafood I tasted in all of Sri Lanka and that is really saying something as I had some amazing meals.

You have to book ahead and the set meal (which I thoroughly recommend) is served at 7pm. The swiss owner is a real character and always seems to be lurking around so you'll definitely meet him.
