Neuruppin
We had heard that the Neuruppiner was lovely and worth visiting, so we decided stopping by. The village of Neuruppin is very small, but the lake is very beautiful , so we decided to have a picknick by the lake. Surprisingly, there were many people there doing the same thing. We met some locals and they told us a bit about the village. Apparently, the village suffered a great fire in the 18th century and it had to be rebuilt. They pointed us to the old gothic church, which is one of the very few buildings that remained standing after the fire.Unfortunately, we had no time to see the church, because it was already late, but will surely visit it the next time we stop by.
