Mystic Mountain-new tourist attraction
The newest attraction to Ocho Rios is indeed the Mystic Mountain.It is located 700feet above sea level.The 360-degree view it offers of coastline, St. Mary's eastern shore, St. Ann's Bay in the west and the Murphy Hill mountain ridge.They have a Rainforest Bobsled Jamaica that is a new eco-friendly attraction.Mystic Mountain features a unique Jamaican Bobsled ride through the lush tropical forest, a chairlift journey over the countryside, a zip-line canopy adventure through the treetops, an island culture and heritage center, as well as mountaintop dining and shopping venues where you can purchase craft items.Rainforest Bobsled Jamaica at Mystic Mountain covers an area of more than 100 acres beginning near Dunn’s River Falls and stretching more than 700 feet above sea level at the peak of Mystic Mountain. The site supports a diverse ecosystem of natural springs, tropical foliage, native trees and a variety of native bird species.
Other than the Bobsled ride, there is Rainforest Sky Explorer .This is a 30-minute excursion on an open-air chairlift will take riders through 2.1 km (1.3 miles) of rainforest canopy. The 14-minute ride uphill from sea level to 700 feet will travel over the treetops and offload riders at the Bobsled Rail Station/Pavilion.
