Anywhere you go in Goa you will see tourists whizzing around the narrow streets on mopeds. There are a number of official places to rent mopeds but if you have left your international driving licence at home just simply ask around at restaurants and especially petrol stations and you will find somebody who rents their own bike out for the day under the instructions that “If the police ask say that you are only borrowing it”. They will expect you to fill the tank when you are finished. Simple as that!
