Night Life in Phnom Penh
There is not too much of night life in Phnom Penh. Two most popular places to go out are the Riverfront Area and the Street 51. In the Riverfront area we found mainly upscale bars and restaurants. Expect to pay at least 3 dollars for the can of Tiger or Heineken. We did not find any proper dance bar there. Street 51 Area is a cluster of many small dance bars. The Heart of Darkness is the biggest of them. The price for beer there starts from 2,5 dollars and there is a real dance floor. It is also possible to find there much cheaper bars where you can get a beer for just 1 dollar. Usually the stuff in these bars will speak decent English. [more] |
