Ballymena has some great chip shops. What more can I say? If you want proper, fat chips (none of those skinny french fries) then visit Ballymena. Take a stroll down past the Fairhill centre (maybe stop in for a spot of shopping) and you'll encounter loads of chippies. I recomment a good old N irish pastie. it's not a cornish pastie, it's made of potato and onion and is similar to a hash brown. Or alternatively, chips and cheese, simple but delicious.
