Pordenone is a nice small city in North-Eastern Italy, in the province of Friuli-Venezzia-Giulia. The city is almost never included in any type of excursions through Italy and even in this province, but it is actually a pretty nice place. It has an enormous cathedral with a very high tower and a very beautiful city hall in the middle of a small, but beautiful town square. There is also some sort of a castle but it doesn’t look as such at all, being more like a block of flats. If you have a free hour in this part of Italy Pordenone is a good choice, because it is a nice town and it can be seen for an hour or two.
