Romantic Road
Romantic doesn’t characterize Germans, but the Romantic Road, Germany's most popular officially designated auto-touring route is truly proof of romance. The 220-mile- river valleys, forests, and plains that follow south-central Germany between Würzburg in the Main River and Füssen in the Bavarian Alps were something that took me a week to experience. The Gothic and Romanesque churches were the pieces of history that lacked to complete this wonderful romantic road. However a local told me that this road has its own legend. It is said that whoever spends a day with the loved one on this road will be even more in love but if you do not love the person you are with, your relationship will be over soon. So be careful with whom you walk on the romantic road!
