Thankfully, I am an auto-snob, and I only drive standard cars, so I wasn’t upset in the least bit to discover that automatics are far and few between in Europe. The French drive like Americans, on the left side of the car and the right side of the road, which is how I am used to driving. They have, however, adopted the British roundabout. It took me a little bit to get used to the roundabouts, but after a little while, I found them quite fun! Do yourself a big favour… if you are driving, get yourself a map!
