VII. An Advice When Getting to Puerto Galera
To tose of you who plans to go to Puerto Galera, do not hesitate to take the pumped motor boats. We have taken the "Father and Son" motor-pumped boat in returning to Batangas after three days of stay in the area. It is faster and for an hour, we have reached the other end of the port. It is more convenient way and it is not really perilous to take one. Do not take the long trip because you will be very disappointed like what we have felt. It is a bad alternative, slow, inconvenient, costly and tiring!

III. Accessing the Beaches of Puerto Galera
Whitebeach was our planned destination, It is a long shorelined beautiful beach in Puerto Galera. There are motor-pumped boats from the Port of Batangas but we did not take any due to weather considerations. Instead, we have taken the fast craft going to the city of Calapan which is very far from the town of Puerto Galera. Most people who go to Puerto Galera's beaches directly take the motor-pumped boats. The one that we have done is an alternative in reaching our destination.

VI. A Little Luck that We've Got
Supposed to be we were to get down of the jeepney at the town of Puerto Galera and take another tricycle to the Whitebeach area. However, we got a little lucky: there were sixteen more passengers inside the jeepney hat wanted to be in the same place as we were. In short, we were eighteen altogether. Thus, the driver offered us that he'd take us to Whitebeach for a little extra fare of twenty pesos (thirty cents of a euro). We all agreed and after twenty more minutes, we were all at the shoreline looking for our respective lodging place.

V. Getting to the Town of Puerto Galera
We needed to take a tricycle from the port to the terminal of jeepneys bound to the town of Puerto Galera. It took us about ten minutes to reach the terminal. From the tricycle, we transferred to the jeepney and have had to wait before the jeepney was full before we could start the trip heading to our desired place. It was more or less an hour before we have started; itt was already three thirty in the afternoon and with strong rain. We reached the town after two hours of wet and bumpy ride.

IV. Reaching Calapan City, Mindoro
The city was around eighty minutes away from the Port of Batangas by fast craft. It was also drizzling when we got there but had a little sunlight despite the pouring thin lines of liquid from up the sky. After going out of the fast craft, we asked around the port people how we could reach the Whitebeach area. I was very grateful because locals were very helpful in giving information and were too happy to help and instruct us what to do. They have informed us that we need three more varied rides before we could reach where we were planning to go. We were appalled.
