Falling head-first towards the North Sea
The North Sea is grey and the clouds were hanging low the day we hit the Scheveningen Beach, and there was a nip in the air, so we decided not to don our bathing suits. Instead, we took a walk along the causeway out to sea and then up the tower to catch a view of Scheveningen all around. While we were halfway up, we suddenly heard a scream and then saw a plunging human seaward. As the tower proclaims, they have a bungee jumping facility from the top floors.
