Andalucia is my favourite part of Spain and Seville is one of the most beautiful cities I’ve visited. It hosted a Latin American convention in 1929 and the expo convention 1992 and has some beautiful architecture as a result, particularly along the Guadalquivir River. Definitely visit the park of Maria Luisa and La Plaza Espana – this is one of my favourite buildings and you can take a ride in a horse-drawn carriage. Also visit the 15th century gothic cathedral in the Jewish Quarter (Santa Cruz) and go up the tower – the Giralda, which was originally built by the moors as a minaret of a mosque – for a view of the city.
