THIS ZONE IS JUST FOR LOANDING AND UNLOADING

To go from Kaolack to Zinguinchor in Senegal by road, I had to traverse Gambia, the country and the river, as all the land traffic.
When I arrived at the boarding quay, I left my taxi brousse, the always over weighted and overfilled local transport.
There was time enough to see the operations of loading and unloading the ferries.
It`s not only cars and vans but also trucks and even lorries.
I can say it was funny to see it. Typical African confusion. But also, an incredible display of driving skills, both good and bad.
Only the north shore has a quay, as on the other side the flat ferries docks at the ground shore. In a river with tides, that means sometimes difficult to surpass angles formed by the shore and the boats inclined ramp.
One way or another, all cars and trucks will do it, sometimes after releasing some part or altering their shapes.
