A lot of history in this Scottish city
The interesting Stirling played an important role in the history of Scotland. The amazing city is located near Edinburgh, between the Ochill Hills and the Campise Fells. Stirling is very attractive, with typical Scottish characteristics. However, the high spot of the city is the Stirling Castle, stage of numerous battles. The fortress is located high on a rocky crag, which can be seen from many points of the city. Moreover, the city also has another landmark very interesting for me. It is the Victorian Wallace Monument, with 67m that remains the history of the Scotland in the hands of William Wallace. Indeed, it is a very historic city. [more] |
