Authentic Medieval Tastes
Where does one go to get an authentic medieval dining experience? This restaurant provides the genuine atmosphere, music, costumes, and tastes, with original recipes dating from the Middle Ages. The pea soup is a good starter, and the reindeer is highly recommended—it comes with a celery root mash that I’d never tasted before, but after one bite, I was a convert. If you go around Christmas time, then you’ll receive the traditional Julbord menu—the spicy korv (sausages) are very good, along with the roasted pear dessert.
