Seaside and sunshine
Stranraer is one of the busiest ports in Scotland. I got the HSS from Belfast over to Stranraer, just a short and pleasant 100 minute journey across the sea. Stranraer is a medium sized town, similar to my hometown of Bangor, Northern Ireland. It is not the most interesting place in the world, but it is quite pretty if you are by the sea. There is a fairly good shopping area in the centre, with all the normal high street shops and a few different things thrown in as well.
