Exploring the Amazing History of Teguise
The municipality of Teguise is one of the many destinations in Canary Islands where I have made return trips because of its wonderful natural and man-made features. As one of the busiest municipalities in the Island of Lanzarote, my journeys to and fro Teguise have always provided me with the rare opportunity to engage in relatively engaging sea fairing adventures, owing to the fact the municipality is split into five different smaller Islands. Apart from its lively beach life, I have also come to appreciate the architectural wonders of Teguise, especially the Castle of Santa Barbara, a giant Romanesque designed building that rests spectacularly on the Guanapay Mountain.
