The hotels there, were, in the main, quite small, and we struggled to find a nice place, as many of them were getting a bit old. However there were a few places which did look quite nice and in the end we decided to check into the Amsterdam hotel which was close to the end of the main street.... [more]

We arrived in Dau, the town very close to Angeles, after about 2 hours, and then took a jeepney into Angeles city proper. As it was getting late, we headed back to the hotel. I enjoyed a very comfortable night in the Shangri-La and the next morning was able to enjoy the handsomely sized and excellent quality buffet breakfast before checking out.
