Richtree Market Restaurant
The Richtree tree market is a chain of restaurants within the Toronto district. All foods and beverages are fresh and prepared in front of you giving you an an open air market feel to it. . As you walk in each guest is handed a purchasing card and every order is swiped on it, quite simple. The atmosphere is distinct to any other eatery I've ever experienced. There’s loads of variety and a constantly changing menu, gourmet pizza, roast, pasta, sandwiches, antipasto, soups, salads, yummy desserts. An exciting dining experience for sure, I recommend the fresh bread, latte and desserts (the crepes are superb!!).

Toronto
Toronto is quite a spread-out city but it does have an attractive waterfront “Queens Quay” Definitely go up the CN Tower, which is 553.5metres tall. For the brave – there is a glass floor section and the tower offers wonderful views over Lake Ontario towards Niagra and the city. Make sure you get the ticket that is valid for the highest level (the Skypod) although I think this costs $25-30. There is a huge gift shop at the base of the tower – definitely well worth a visit. You will have to go through security screening before going up the tower. Shopping in Toronto is very good and due to the snow in the winter a lot of the shopping malls are underground and connected by subways – Eaton Centre on Yonge street is the main mall. I can recommend Second Cup as one of the best coffee shops - try the vanilla hot chocolate! The area around the University is also nice to walk around. I’d recommend the Sutton Place as a hotel – huge rooms, king sized beds and all the comforts you need. It’s very good value if you book out of peak season online, although it is a bit of walk from most of the attractions.

How to Get to Pearson International Airportt
I remember a couple of years back we couldn’t find a cheaper air fare from either Ottawa or Montreal but from Toronto, and since we lived pretty far from Toronto and there wasn’t a connecting flight on the same day, we had to go down to Toronto a day before flying overseas. We stayed at Holiday Inn on King because there is the stopping station for motorcoaches (busses) that could take you to Pearson International Airport. The bus goes every 20-30 minutes from the hotel and it is pretty fast (like an hour or so as long as there is no traffic jam whatsoever) and affordable (I think it was around 16 CAD per person). So if you are in the need to reach the airport, you might want to find the nearest big hotel to you instead going to the bus terminal or getting taxi which I am sure usually will be expensive.

Toronto's Golden Mall - RBP Merchants Mall
There are only 2 malls that I have been to while my husband and I were down in Toronto, the Royal Bank Plaza’s Merchants Mall and also the BCE Place; both are really great to check out since I don’t think I ever saw such shopping complex in either Ottawa or Montreal, even though Montreal has quite great ones. I quite like the Royal Bank Plaza Merchants Mall. The two towers are really up high and would shine too bright when the sun shines on their glassy and gold-like window buildings; that moment would be the best time for picture-taking opportunity. There are restaurants, stores, shops, and boutiques inside the mall, and plus, this mall is also connected to the underground city of Toronto. This mall is located not too, too far from the CN Tower, so it is really convenient for you to reach for a little leisure time after exploring the CN Tower :)

Enjoying Toronto on a Floating Bus
If you have been on a boat-cruise cruising around Ottawa River (Rideau River) and you liked it, I am quite positive you would also love similar cruise around Toronto, the difference is that this cruise I am talking about, is not exactly on a boat, but rather a floating bus; and it is so much fun! I thought it was going to be expensive for such tours but turns out it was really affordable, but knowing that I am not a good swimmer whatsoever, I got intimidated so very much in the beginning and kept saying no to the idea. Was I relieved that I did go for the “boat” tour, it wasn’t scary at all and it was a total fun for all. The tour lasted for one and a half hour if I am not mistaken and they will take you around Lake Ontario. This is a different site to enjoy the city of Toronto and one should really try it. For more information on this floating bus, do contact local travel agents in downtown Toronto :-D

The Best of Toronto: Distillery District
Going to the Distillery District in Toronto is like a must for everyone who’s visiting the big city, even for Torontonians, they obviously know this part of the city’s downtown is full with excitement as this is like the center of arts performances, cultural diversity and such, which would only mean entertainment to the crowds. I like strolling around the area because in some parts, vehicles are not allowed so it’s similar to some areas in Montreal, great for walking and window-shopping. You will find many restaurants with patios, art galleries, studios, stores, boutiques, bakeries and various other things to see. And I said earlier that this area is like the center of arts performances, most of the time especially in summer, you will see live music, dancing, and even street paintings here at Distillery Districts.

Restaurants in Toronto
As in all big cities, Toronto has a great variety of restaurants, from Vietnamese and Chinese restaurants to Indian and Mexican, you can find anything you like there.
It is great to have such a variety because then prices are not very high and quality is great. I would recommend that you buy a news paper that shows all the possible options. There is almost always a small explanation of what the restaurant is about, and what kind of food they are serving. Some times it is even nice to go to a restaurant just to see the decoration because they are always trying to find ways of being different to the others in order to get more costumers.

Toronto's China Town
Toronto’s China Town is one of the most amusing parts of the city; there are many restaurants with bad hygiene. I love eating in those restaurants; it is as If you have travelled thousands of kilometres into a real Chinese town. Chinese people are shouting on the street in order to sell their products. Everything there is really cheap, and they have everything there, from electric appliances to exotic fruits and vegetables.
If you go to a restaurant, try to ask for Chinese noodles, they are the best, but also the duck’s meat is delicious.
As a warning, try to be very careful when buying something from the street, try it on first because many things are broken or are poorly done, that’s why the price is so low.

Toronto
Toronto is one of my favourite cities in the world, I have been there many times and I love just to feel its atmosphere. Toronto’s atmosphere has the ambience of every big city, there are places, of course where you do not feel very comfortable, but there are some others where you can feel so much culture and diversity.
Toronto is full of theatres, shops, bars, coffee shops, and almost anything you would want from a big city to have.
I love looking at people in Toronto, each person is in their own world, they seem not to care about the world that surround them which allows them to be themselves without restrains. When walking in Toronto you get to see all the races at once, I love that about Canada, they seem to have a real diversified country where everyone has exactly the same rights.

Helicopter Rides
Why not take a tour ride with a Helicopter. I haven’t done this, but it has always been my dream. Look at all these offers. Of course the number one pick for me would be the Fly and Dine package. What guy could do better for his sweetheart then to take up his sweetheart in a Romatic helicopter ride and then wine and dine at the top of the CN tower? Luckily these tours are yearly. This way you even have the chance to come in the winter, when the city is covered by a thin layer of snow.
Make sure to reserve in advance if you want to go up in a helicopter. I have heard of problems arising because people didn’t book in advane.
Here is a listing of all the tours that I found on http://www.toronto.com/
Toronto Heli Tour #1: Fly diretly over the city centre.
Toronto Heli Tour #2: Provides the best view of the city.
The Romantic Jewel: A chance to go alone with your sweet heart up and see Toronto.
The Romantic Interlude: Come up and see the city at Sunset.
Fly 'n Dine 360 Package: You get to see the city twice. First go up in a helicopter ride, then dine at the top of the CN tower. Come on guys, what is more romantic?
Birthday Flight Packs: You give a souvenir and a helicopter ride.
Toronto Heli-Birthday: What is better than birthday party in a helicopter?
Heli - Charter: Take your business buddies up for a ride.
