Tulum - Archeological Site
Though not as large as I expected, Tulum is without a doubt beautiful. What probably makes this site most spectacular is the fact that it sits on the shores of the Caribbean. It is a fantastic place to take pictures because the colors are so vibrant - shades of blue and turquoise from the water, deep greens from the trees, gray from the ruins. I even have a great photo of an iguana. We got caught in a rainstorm while here as we bypassed the large group of tourists who huddled in every corner they could find shelter.
