Driving up through the Northland go off highway 1 at Warkworth and follow the signs to the Parry Kauri Park. You’ll find 2 giant trees in an untouristic environment which are situated in a little park. Other than the commercial Northland Forrest Park here you can enjoy the majesty of them undisturbed. Next to a little bush walk you can enjoy the quietness and have a picnic while driving up the Northland.
