Sri Lanka - Colombo - Hilton Hotel
Readers of my tips will be use to my advice on how to find cheap hotels and hostels, so it will come as a suprise to find out that I stayed at the Hilton. I found Colombo a little bit of a disappointment and as I was visiting the capital over New Year, I decided to treat myself to a nice hotel. (I also thought it was probably one of the few countries where I could actually afford to stay in a Hilton. It was everything you'd expect from a 5* hotel... Six restaurants, swimming Pool, piano foyer etc and the staff were uber friendly.
