Windsor
Windsor is a relatively small town right in the border of Canada. It is a tourist spot just for those living in Detroit.
It has a medium size University, which hosts a big population of foreign students.
There are not so many reasons to go to Windsor, it is full of night clubs ad strip clubs, probably the main reason why so many American students go is because the drinking age in Canada is 19 while in the United States in 21 therefore all weekends is full with students. The older tourists are those that go to the casino and to the strip clubs which have different rules than the clubs in USA. I had a great time while I lived there, but I would not recommend Windsor for vacations, it is just a nice town to live in.
If you do visit Windsor, some of the activities that I liked doing there the most were walking along the river side and enjoying a bubble tea.

Windsor, where the kids go to drink
When I first went to Windsor, it was honestly because of the drinking age. In the United States you have be 21 to drink, but in Windsor the age limit is only 19. Many kids travel across the border when they turn 19 in order to drink at one of the many Windsor bars. Even different Detroit radio stations host bands here.
Mind the exchange rate if you go to Windsor. Because Windsor is so close to the United States, many bars will accept American money, however be mindful that they will give you a really bad exchange rate, sometimes they won't even convert your money at all. They make a lot of money doing this. What you need to do is go to the Casino and exchange all your money there. Usually they will do it for free.
Make sure that the price listed is the Canadian price and not the US price. Sometimes they will go about there way to trick you before you order the drink so that you end up paying more for the drink than you though. For example they tell you the drink costs 7. But this price ends up being the US price and so you end up paying 10 Canadian.
What I did before going over to Canada was open up a Bank of America account. Bank of America has a special agreement with many countries that when you take money out of certain Atms, you don’t have to pay any fees. Now I use my Bank of America account in Germany, France, the UK, and Canada and I don’t pay any fees. No I don’t work for Bank of America .
