Chiang Mai Two Day Trek Hill Thai Tribe visit and elephant ride
I was really interested in getting to experience the Thai traditional villages. This 2 day trek up the Chiang Dao hills offered a visit and a one night overstay at the Karen Village, as well as an elephant ride the next morning from the Palong village. It was a fare trek with moderate difficulty. When we arrived to Karen we met some villagers and relaxed with some music, drinks and local food. I barely slept that night as our beds were some sort of blankets on the floor and spiders and other local bugs walked freely in the room.
