Insider advice for your Zwickau vacation

Zwickau 3 stars
Zwickau is a small town in Southern Saxony, being mostly famous as the place where the old DDR-cars Trabant were produced. The car industry has left its trace in the outlook of the city and there is even a small monument of the Trabant car. The town itself has several nice old buildings, like for example the old town hall which is very beautiful and the small castle, but generally it is not very impressive. Zwickau may be a good point to start exploring the nearby Bayern, Thuringia and Czech republic, since it is closer to all these three lands, than to its provincial capital Dresden.
