GRUB 5 stars
During my visit to Hollywood, California, I stumbled upon a gem of a restaurant called GRUB. It is a fairly new restaurant, but it’s incredibly popular with the locals and is starting to become known far and wide. The restaurant itself is in a converted 1920’s duplex centered in the heart of Hollywood’s hip Post-Production District.

Their food is described as “California Comfort Food,” meaning it’s got all the things you loved as a kid, but with a grown-up twist. Sure, there are a few healthy salads that actually taste good, but don’t expect to stay on your diet here at GRUB. They deliver mouthwatering comfort food straight to your table, ready to be devoured and leaving you begging for more. Yeah, it’s that good.

It's More than an Imprint 4 stars
Really one of my favorite parts about Hollywood Blvd was the cement signatures outside Mann’s Chinese Theater. I remember feeling a nostalgic sensation while standing over the imprinted feet, realizing that a legendary Hollywood icon once stood at that exact spot or placing your hand over the hallowed hole where someone who entertained the world had placed it. It will bring a smile to your face in some degree. A camera is definitely in order for this. Also the best view of the HOLLYWOOD sign is from the Highland Center

The Griddle Cafe 4 stars
The Griddle Cafe, located on 7916 Sunset Blvd. in Hollywood, California, is a favourite among the locals. Regulars are used to the long lines and the restaurant's overall distinct lack of atmosphere, but with the delights offered here in mind, patrons wait contentedly for tables.

Their portions here are truly enormous, so think twice before ordering more than one platter at a time. The menu itself has a sense of humour, with names such as "Banana Nana," which are brown sugar-baked bananas cooked inside a buttermilk batter, and "Hear Me Roar," which are Frosted Flake and strawberry hotcakes. That's just breakfast, though. For lunch, try their $400K Melt, which is Albacore tuna salad and swiss cheese served on Bavarian rye. I'm just talking from my own tries here, and there is a ton of more options on the menu, so just go there and see it for yourself. :)

Four stars.

Walking Amongst the Stars 4 stars
The Hollywood Walk of Fame goes hand-in-hand with the Mann’s Chinese Theater. It’s great…there are thousands of stars located along Hollywood Blvd. Somehow it’s strange though…seeing the star of a Hollywood icon next to the entrance of a run down McDonalds, or garbage lying near it in the street. However, they are not all this way. Other stars are recognized and remembered with burning candles and incense surrounding their name. In general, it wasn’t as dingy as I had expected. On the other hand, it was definitely hard to find the names you are specifically looking for. I would suggest purchasing a Walk of Stars Map and Directory from a souvenir shop along the strip. I really enjoyed the performers and actors on the street as well…they got even more interesting and colorful as the sun went down.

Hollywood 4 stars
Hollywood was an alright location to visit, especially because of its fame, everyone has to go once to Hollywood in their lives. I liked the museums they have there and of course the whole Theme Park is grand.
I love the cartoon guys who draw your portrait for 10 dollars; it is amazing how much talent they have. I also loved the whole scene; everything matches and has a place and a reason to be in order to create the right mood. I also liked the tour they give you on how thy created some of the especial effects in the movies, think it is awesome how much money they spend in just one scene of a movie.
I would say it is better to go with kids; they have enough imagination to believe everything that is going on there. I went both as an adult and as a kid and the experience was without comparison better as a kid.
