Another thing to consider is access. The city of Savannah regulates where EXACTLY trolleys can stop, and the driver, personally, gets a ticket for picking up or dropping of outside a designated area. Don't think you're so special as to get dropped off at the Mercer House front door, get used to the idea that you might have to walk one or two blocks. Old Town and Old Savannah pick up at a stop on River Street, Oglethorpe Tours doesn't. They have a stop up the stairs or elevator from River street, but unless you are hardly able to walk (and then why are you walking a mile down a coblestone street?) they won't come get you.
