In the hull of the junk there are some cabins where you can spend the night. A large part of the tour group wanted to stay in a hotel so I had a nice evening with a small bunch of people in a remote bay of the Halong Bay. The night was quite and peaceful and the boat moved with the waves. [more]

At the horizon you can already see the limestone hills jutting out of the water like the back of a dragon. It´s really amazing to drive through the deep gorges.
