Bath sightseeing bus
I thought I knew Bath fairly well until I took a trip on the sightseeing bus. It is a fantastic bus tour and covers quite a large portion of Bath. You get a beautiful view over the Royal Crescent as the bus ascends the hills to upper Bath. The commentary is very interesting and well timed. The tour takes about 50 minutes and costs £10 for adults and £8 for students. There is also a skyline tour, which is included in the price, and takes you outside the city to the surrounding hills and some of the attractions that are slightly further out- the American museum and Manor Park for example. When I took the bus there was a live tour guide, but it was only in English. [more] |
