Yachats
Yachats is called the "Gem of the Oregon Coast." It is a very small community located at the mouth of the Yachats River. The stretch of coast just to the north is rocky, and provides beautiful views of the waves breaking against the rocks as well as many tidepools. The location is great for a relaxed time at the beach but it is also close to a number of attractions for those who prefer a more active holiday. Yachats is close to the Cape Perpetua Scenic Area, Heceta Head Lighthouse, the Sea Lion Caves, and numerous state parks.
