Buffalo Bill land - Cody, Wyoming
I had just passed historical Buffalo and the Big Horn mountains – leaving behind the last stories of Butch Cassidy and Sundance Kid, when a couple of hours ahead I entered Cody. The city was founded by and named after William “Buffalo Bill” Cody – and it still preserves much of the wild frontier flavor. From rodeos to buffalo sightings, Cody brings you back to the times of the Wild West Show of Buffalo Bill - where Sitting Bull also played at least once, among many others. Located on the eastern area of Yellowstone, Cody is quite a calm inviting place. The Buffalo Bill Historical Center is one of the major attractions to visit there. [more] |
