It was quite a good find, The Amsterdam Court hotel, a fairly secure and quiet place in midtown Manhattan and within quite good walking distance (or in my case cycling distance) from all the places you would want to go in New York. The rooms are quite nice, I managed to land an extra large one on the top floor and they let me bring my mountain bike up to the room. Breakfast was a bit of a sparse ordeal, croissants and orange juice and of course some coffee or tea but nothing substantial. The price on the other hand makes this a very good value place to stay as you could easily pay twice the price for nearby hotels of similar quality. [more] |
