Hotel: Soho Grand Hotel Soho Grand Hotel is situated in the luxurious Soho neighborhood. The Soho famous stores are just one block from the hotel. The suspended cast iron stairway to the second floor was a big astonishment but I believe it added the bit of chic it needed. The windows are 16-foot windows draped with velvet. I looked up and saw the mercury glass ceiling. The hotel looked a lot like a museum sometimes because of the many expositions but unlike a museum you can purchase the artworks. The antique lights at the bar give the place a mysterious feeling. I didn’t believe Soho Grand Hotel was small but I must say the 18-story building and the 363 guestrooms were a surprise. The beds had leather headboards and silk sheets. Everything was included, IPods, DVD players, CDs, wireless Internet access for a fee, a pet goldfish brought and delicious cocoa bars. [more]
