Vicenza, also called The Town of Palladio, is the place where Andrea Palladio was born, a 16th century famous architect whose buildings drew attention to the whole world. The city is based on a on a classical Roman architecture and it is famous for its arts, refined architecture, harmony of forms and proportions. Too visit the most important buildings and sightseein attractions of the city it could take a whole day but I recommend staying there overnight, perhaps at the Palladian villas in the countryside around Vicenza.
