Chocolate Fountain, Bellagio
Hungry for some chocolate? The chocolate fountain in the Bellagio is a masterpiece of flowing chocolate. Here is the worlds largest chocolate fountain by volume and size. Unfortunately the fountain is behind glass so its not possible to take a nice sampling of the chocolate. Fortunately your taste buds can be satisfied with the chocolate being sold in the Jean Philippe Patisserie. Inside they have a large selection of cookies, candys, and even salads. I found the fountain to be amazing. I had seen just about everything when I ran into this fountain. Las Vegas really does everything just about everything imaginable. The fountain is amazing in that the chocolate never gets hard. Rather its kept warm enough to slowly mix in with other flavor of chocolate in a never ending flow of chocolate. The Bellagio's Jean-Philippe Patisserie is open Sunday - Thursday from 7:00 a.m. - 11:00 p.m. and Friday and Saturday 7:00 a.m. - 12:00 a.m. [more] |

Bellagio Water Show
If you are planning on taking a trip to Las Vegas, Nevada then the obvious thing that comes to mind for things to do there is gamble. However, there are a lot of other cool things to do that don’t involve getting drunk or throwing your money away. One of these things is the famous Bellagio Water Show. The Bellagio Water Show is located outside of the famous Bellagio Hotel. The show is shown every half hour Monday through Friday and can be seen starting at noon on the weekends. This show is really neat because the water shoots over a thousand feet high and there are a thousand different hoses that spray the water out. With the water coming from the hoses, they combine this with a light show at night which is also really appauling. [more] |

Bellagio Hotel
Smack in the centre of the strip, this Italian - style monolith is the epitome of the Vegas supercasino. It's classy too, with modern art in the reception and a recreation of an Italian lake and village at the front. The famous fountain displays from the lake are best viewed at night and if you are staying in the Bellagio be sure to get a room with a view of the lake - one of the defining American vistas after sunset. Staff are accommodating and attentive in the extreme - but this place is not cheap, and why would it be? The gourmet buffet is a decadent delight and the tables are always packed. Minimum bets on the casino floor start at $5 and there are all the usual games. Some great bars too and the residential clientele vary from the super rich to honeymooning couples. Even if you aren't planning to stay here, take a stroll around and live the Ocean's 11 dream for a few minutes. [more] |
