Hotel Principal- recommended
Hotel Principal is only a two star hotel but I really think it should be three. We found this hotel after booking a last minute break to Barcelona and finding that most of the hotels were booked up. Everyone seemed to have something positive to say so we booked it. First off, great location- only a few minutes walk to Las Ramblas and close to Plaza de Catalunya and the beach. Secondly, great service. We checked in very late due to a flight delay and the man at reception was so friendly- he gave us several maps and showed us where all the main places to see/eat/drink were. The rooms were a really good size and kept impeccably clean. I think the fact that there isn't room service or a minbar makes it a two star but who cares about that anyway! [more] |
