The Narai Hotel, Bangkok The Narai Hotel was quite a good find for me whilst in Bangkok. It had the feel of a much larger establishment than it really was, and this helped to make my stay very comfortable. The room was spacious and was fitted out to the standard of a five star hotel. Yet it was the dining facilities that were most impressive. In particular, the Italian restaurant on the ground floor served fantastic food with all of the dishes prepared in an open kitchen area and the 2nd floor coffee shop and restaurant provided a very good range of buffets depending on the time of day. Nana Hotel - Bangkok Its virtually an institution and it is still going strong. Nana Hotel in Bangkok is located in Sukuhmvit soi 4 and is a large hotel known as a place of choice for anyone looking to stay in the area. With so many bars and night spots in the same street, the hotel always remains a lively place. It also has an in-house disco called Angels which enjoys a late crowd, and the coffee shop and restaurant on the ground floor is open 24 hours a day. You can normally get a walk in rate and rooms are generally available, although on some occasions it is quite booked up and so an advance booking could well be the way to go.
