Central Karon Village
The Thai resort island of Phuket has many beaches dotted around, one of them being Karon Beach, and there are some nice large resorts near to the coast. However as part of my tour of Phuket I decided to stay slightly inland at the Central Karon Village Resort. The Hotel was, at the time preparing to change its name to the Centara Villas Phuket Hotel, and so this would be worth noting, but of particular interest to me is that this was a resort nestled high up on slopeamongst lush green gardens. It afforded views of the countryside and the sea and so was perfect. My room was very nice with all amenities as expected and the place was very peaceful indeed! The price was not bad either. It was also very close to Karon beach and so was a perfect place to stay. [more] |
