Gresham Palace/Four Seasons Hotel
Gresham Palace is located at V. Roosevelt tér 6 (take M1 to Vörösmarty tér or tram number 2). This building was commissioned by Gresham Insurance company from London. It was done in Art Nouveau style and stood quite neglected for a good number of years. The building was completed in 1907. and it had a number of luxuries that were unheard of at the time such as central heating to name a few. It was damaged during World War II. Nowadays it is home to the luxuriest of hotels the Four Season and it is looking splendidly, well it should as be as much as 85 million dollars were invested. [more] |
